They are not good for me like my Radial TAs were. | | | Re: Slippery tires | Joined: Dec 2017 Posts: 494 Likes: 21 addict | addict Joined: Dec 2017 Posts: 494 Likes: 21 | Mine are great and it rains about 95% of the time here in Portland. I'm not putting tons of mileage on them in bad weather, though. | | | Re: Slippery tires | Joined: Sep 2005 Posts: 9,855 Likes: 234 carpal tunnel | carpal tunnel Joined: Sep 2005 Posts: 9,855 Likes: 234 | Gave up on Coopers and TA's. Only run Michelin LTX @ about 45psi. I just really like the solid feeling, handling and I don't care so much about looks. They're real good in the rain. on Flickr 32/10.50's in the rear and 225's up front. We drive a lot of miles and have been very pleased with the truck tires over the performance tires. They ride like a truck but last a lot longer. Probably not everyone's cup of tea. Run the LTX's 235's on BigBlue as well: on Flickr

They didn't like the 8860 weight. Went to BFG 245 with 9 ply on the face and 3 ply on the side walls. Best tire ive found yet.

Good for 5-8,000 miles and wet traction was like a slick.🤣
When in doubt..get the sawzall out..
