That's great news on the upholstery entrepreneur! If you don't mind...I'll keep you two in mind when I need upholstery work done. Haha It wouldn't bother me sending it out. Also, (second to FAST355 aka "1983G20") I also know a good bit about "LE9" 305's.. As well as 305's in general. I thought I saw you mention it in a post from long ago, but didn't want to go resurrecting an old thread. There's actually a great deal of potential sitting there under that doghouse without tearing into it very far. What you have is not the standard pedestrian 305 at all. In fact, I have a low mileage "LE9" I'm sitting on for my next project. I understand you have your heart set on an LS swap.. However, if you want to go there feel free to P.M. Oh, there's one thing I've been wondering. How have your poly bushings been working out for you in your rig? It's been a while, what's your take on them? Rough-squeeky- good or bad? Those G vans put bushings to the test! I'm sure she would love the business! Her Instagram is @carwifelife. She prefers to be contacted via that, but let us know when you are ready! As for the 305, I am definitely interested in more info. I will send you a PM a little later today. I defintely want an LS eventually more for reliavility and not having to take the dash apart to tune the carb several times a year, as well as the obvious power increase, but if I can hop up this 305 for a bunch cheaper, that may help extend the timeline for the LS build. I'm interested, but have a work meeting coming up. I'll initiate PM after lunch. As for the bushings, they are holding up alright so far. This doesn't get driven in the winter, so that is probably helping, but I have no squeak or anything from them and they are still firm and tight.. The only thing I wish I would have done when I re-did the suspension is the solid LCA shafts. I didn't realize how much those move around until I firmed up everything else. I plan to get solid shafts eventually from Rare Parts, but they are $$$.

They aren't perfect, but I think they turned out alright and present well. I cut up some old license plates for the rear reflectors behind the lights. The pictures definitely don't do them justice..
