Just having a nice evening at a local bar having a few drinks talking to people around, ended up having a nice conversation with a pretty blond who was a little lit, she likes motorcycles, boating, she hasn't been to Havasu in years etc, Being the gentleman that i am i offer to give her a ride home, ( her house not mine) now since my Hellcat was hit last week and both my suburban and dually are in the shop i was driving my van, As we walk out to the van she stops and was like hell no i'm not getting into that, wtf it's a pretty cool ass van, (well maybe not from a lit girls point of view.) Never had that happen before,

There are still so many people that have negative impressions of vans or negative comments about vans that it frustrates me when I hear it but I just assume they are very narrow minded. Fortunately, the good comments and reactions are far more frequent than the negative ones.
Any time I am out cruising in the van, get a lot of thumbs up, peace signs, or positive comments. Lots of people approach me in parking lots asking if they can look inside, and many older folks say how they had a van back in the 70s or 80s. Last year me and my wife were parked down at the river watching the boats go past, a few younger guys and bikini-clad gals, twentysomething's walked by and were saying "Do It In A Van", so cool. Yesterday we were setting at a stop light and the mini van besides us had a sticker on the window "Condoms Prevent Mini-Van's". My wife said she wished we would of been in the van and could of hollered over, Do it in a real van.
I had a rep from one of my vendors, quite an attractive woman in her 50's, checking out my van when I first brought it home. (I live onsite, I don't mix business with pleasure). The women in their 20's who frequent my usual bar aren't into cars/bikes/vans or any cool shit.
It has to be an age/generational thing, man.
