Dude, totally agree on that statement. I like to rewatch the cruising clips from this movie for little things I miss here and there (it totally annoys my old lady), but The Orient Express is a clean machine. I watched it again last night and I think I'm in love with the roof rack on it. I'm going to scoop one from the junkyard today for sure because of it.

I remember the first time I saw that stupid cherry van in the movie. All 4 seconds of it. Yeah, it was cool, but The Orient Express was way cooler in the same 4 seconds of clip.

I watched it last night too so it’s fresh in my brain. It was also shown twice. But dang so many good vans! I love Moons dodge. Lots of really cool cars in that movie as a whole.

Roof rack is a cool accessory for sure!

Moon's Dodge is a great van, way cooler than Cherry.

I think Bobby says he has a turbo 472 stuffed in that first gen Ford van and I always think to myself "HOW!?".

It is definitely a cheesy film, but a total classic in the Crown International library.

I started listening to this at work today. It is a very funny podcast about old low budget movies and they cover Van Nuys Blvd. I think they basically retell the movie and point out a load of absurdity in the film. That’s probably why the podcast is longer than the actual movie!

Side note not in the podcast, from when the movie was just a proposed idea for a “script” to being released in theaters was only a 3 month timeframe.

I love Crown and American International movies. Anything directed by Jack Hill is gold, especially with Pam Grier. 😍
