Thanks guys. The girls are a blast in the garage too. They get a kick out of all the stupid dad jokes, and I've got dad jokes for days.

I had to sit back and laugh at all the people that ask "why would you buy a van? They're so hard to work on!" ... Yeah, so hard to work on that my 14 and 15 year old daughters can pull a motor. LMAO. I guess the one benefit to people thinking vans are super hard to work on is it saves more vans for the rest of us to buy and customize.

So cool to get the younger generation into all of this. I wish I had a dad that was like you when I was that age. It’s really going to impact them on a positive way for the rest of their lives.

Thankfully my pop was always willing to teach me anything he could. I wish I would have been more interested in the house renovation side of things when I was younger, I could have learned a lot more. He passed three years ago, but I did get to learn a ton from him.

Most importantly though, and what I'm trying to teach my kids, is that you can teach yourself how to fix almost anything without YouTube and Google, if you're willing to try. I'm trying to show them that if you just get the motivation to jump in head first, even if you fail, you will learn from the failures and next time you will get it right.

I grew up around the local drag strip and dirt track, and my pop always let me get in on the work that was being done. Even though I was too young to even really know what was going on, that has helped with my kiddos a lot. Now if I can just get them to keep their room clean. LMAO.
