When you are replying to the thread, click "Use Full Editor"
Then click "Attachment Manager" under the 'Post Options' section
Then just upload your pics, then don't forget to click "Done" when you have them all uploaded.

Yeah, you just have to resize some of the really huge pics to make them small enough to upload. Flikr still works too I believe.
