Check out the Dodge section down below and look for the build named 'walter' - the guy re-engineered and built that triangular bracket piece, he may be able to do it (better/cheaper/faster??) than buying from rock auto or something...?

Very cool build - I've been looking at government auction sites/CL for daily driver van, and I've really been considering a dodge and doing a Dajiban...

I was at the local Autozone today and remembered back in the day some Camaros and Mustangs had some long shackles to give them a raked look to fit bigger tires. So tomorrow I will be installing these.

I also got me new headlights and tail lights installed today.

I got her all cleaned up today after getting the new hood, grille and lights installed. I still need to get the altitude adjustment done but just ordered new upper and lower control arms, drag link, tie rod ends and radius arm bushings so I can rebuild the front end when I install the new spindles.

I got my lower valance installed today. This one is off of a '95 Dodge Ram P/U Parts link Number CH1090124 The ends extended past the bumper but nothing a quick trim couldn't fix. i did have to drill a few holes in the valance to get it on but it came out pretty good.

I got the rear end lowered 2"s by pulling 2 springs out of the spring pack. It is now leveled. I still want to lower it another 2"s all around. I am still waiting on a new front lower Moog control arm. On of the ones I received was not a Moog part so I sent it back.

Also managed to get the rear bumper on yesterday and then mounted the receiver hitch today.

I got the Dakota drop spindles installed today and just about have the stance I was looking for. It was a bit of a job getting these to work but I am still using the stock brakes. I did have to clearance the passenger side caliper bracket a bit as it was rubbing the rotor. Also the rotor on the driver side was rubbing on the lower control arm just a bit and need a little persuasion to stop that. Anyhow, here is the van with its current stance. I really need to find a new front bumper.

Did you ever find a front bumper? I found an original pre 98 one that was really straight. I had the molding holes welded up then powder coated it satin black. Was hoping I could mod some brackets to put it on my 99 shorty but NO DICE. Shoulda looked closer at the curvature BEFORE spending the dough on the bumper. It's sitting here in Nor Cal if you're interested.

I haven't been on here in ages. Just got the bug to get more work done on it. I actually finally found a new repo bumper and picked it up today. I got a painted one without the cover for a cleaner look. Hope to be bale to get some paint on it this weekend if the weather holds out.
