frscke1 I was at the shop for the leafs yesterday and was informed that they do not have a 3" spring that tapers in the middle to a 2"1/2 they only have a 2'1/2 all the way thru so I will end up having a 6 leaf spring with a camber of app 8" and was informed that if it is to stiff the will always be able to remove a blade for me. Would you agree seeing that you already drive one and as I am running on trial and error. Before I forget this is for the front of the Van

Hi to all got my parts from the States for my transfer case, rebuilt it with a 4L80E female shaft and made a adapter to fit so that I do not have to cut the shaft. Installed the new leafs and the van was to high so I had the camber changed and refitted. I installed the NP205 and it fits perfect. I also have a question on the pic below can anyone tell me what the little black box is for as I cant remember where it was plugged onto.

Good deal. I should have said: Anti-Lock Brake controller.

Mine on my 1990 G30 triggers a check engine light when plugged in.

Probably a part number, I'd guess they are matched up to the weight class and brake system indicated in the VIN number. So i'd be looking for one matching my 2GAGG VIN. If I ever find one here. If I ever feel like fixing it. It stops fine.

Haven't seen one new, I have seen units on EBay. I'll pull one off of a G30 in the Yard here if a one ton ever shows up. grin

Good Wrenching, and Van On!

Its been a while since my last post. I have not given up on the Van just needed some $ and planning. Now is the time that I am running into problems no space to the ECU because of the conversion from left to right there is no space under the dash as I am also trying to install a stand alone AC unit. So the only place to install ECU is between the 2 front seats I will also have to do a cable system for the transfer case. I am now busy with the wiring and will need to build some kind of enclosure to cover it as I would like to start the motor in the near future.

In the front of the engine cover there is a pull out drawer, the ECU could live in there.
You would need a large multi connector for the loom going to the ECU to disconnect it for when you need to take the engine cover off but such connectors do exist.
Or you could sink it into the floor if you have the space underneath and it's not near the exhausts (it'd give you a flat floor though)
