'87 G20
I'm sure I can remove a rear leaf or 2 from both sides. It'll smooth the ride out back. Did it to my '69 3/4 ton GMC truck. Leveled the ride and softer too. But what about the front?? Drop spindles?? Lowering springs?? From where?? Thanks.

I used these: https://www.summitracing.com/parts/sum-g727

Worked like a charm.

Thanks. That's a nice setup. Gonna have to check out those springs.

Do you have spacers in the rear?

How is the ride with those springs?

10" rims, no spacers.

Contrary to what everyone is always freaking out about when shorter springs are used instead of spindles, the ride and handling are better than before.

Did you put shorter shocks on front? Do you ever clip the front tire on dips or bridge approaches?
I've got 15x7 wheels 255x70 tires and it will hit the back of th well on a good dip.

Same KYB shocks as before. No problems with clipping. My front tires are 235/60 on 15x8" rims.

I’d guess those springs have a stiffer rate to keep it from bottoming out

Exactamundo. Any good quality spring specifically designed for lowering will have a higher rate and will result in a better ride and more stability over cutting a coil from stock springs.
