I started installing my seats into the van today. I'm going to have to weld reinforcements to the floor because there's a lot of flex.

But it looks good. I'll work on it a bit more on Monday with the extra day off.

Here is a brief walk around of the van now that the pipes are welded up. There is a tapping noise somewhere that I can't lock down and the battery isn't charging. I think I will take the front apart again and make some adjustments on Monday. I drove her over to the body guy today and it was all over the road. The steering box needs adjusting as everything else is tight underneath.

Awesome! Love seeing this. I should probably do the same for my van. Sounds good, looks good.

Seats look good in there from what I can see. Doesn't sound like a lifter peck or anything bad, almost sounds like a loose header bolt to me, but hard to tell from the video. Making progress in leaps and bounds now man, won't be long and you'll have her all sorted out. I can't remember, did you name it yet?

Yeah, the headers and side pipes aren't as loud as I thought they would be inside the van. I recommend it.

I think I might need to retorque the headers and start from the middle and work my way out. I'm going to work on it again on Monday.

I went back and started going through the wiring. I had a few spots that didn't match the factory diagram so I made sure they were fixed and replaced old wires. The battery still isn't charging. It is sitting at 12.2 when on and even when the engine is revved. The voltage regulator was replaced and nothing changed. I am thinking about swapping a GM one wire alternator into it and calling it done because that would bypass the VR and all the baloney wiring until I can rewire it next year. It looks reasonably simple and I'm getting burned out on a lot of the half done work I've encountered.

I hear you Charlie; it use to always blow my mind when I'd see someone buy expensive car audio gear and take short cuts on installation kits and a poor quality install.
