Playing around with some photoshop. Trying to decide on what direction I want to go with some rattle bomb in the spring as it's going to be a good long while before I can afford the good paint.
Not much progress, but every little bit helps toward the end goal. Scrubbed the paint off the gasket surfaces on the 305 with some acetone and steel wool. Couple of my buddies gave me slack over not taping it off, but it cleaned off super quick. I'm dying to take her for darn ride.
I've thought about that, but still undecided. Heck, I'm wavering on paint color/colors every day. I was pretty set on black basecoat with blue candy topcoat. But I've seen about 6 or 7 recent builds in darker blues, so now my mind is thinking maybe switch it up.

The girls and I started on the engine swap today. It'll go a little slower than normal, as I'm letting them get in on the action as much as they can, but I'm really enjoying being able to do this with them while we can. Basically just spent today stripping the front clip in preperation, and hopefully get the rest of the lines, hoses, and carb off tomorrow. Then we can yank it out and get ready to put the 305 temp motor in place of the 350. We're going to go ahead and pull the trans with the motor. She's leaking a bit of fluid out of the tail shaft, so we can get a good look at the bearing and seal while it's all out as well as clean it all up before we re-install. Of course it wouldn't be working if I didn't slam my hand into the bumper and say some no-no words while we were at it.
