Off road all the way there .... yeah ! !

We’ve been taking the scenic route the whole way. This was a stop at a hot springs which had some amazing scenery. We drove a mile on washboard dirt roads to get to this spot

I was aiming for it but no vans on the road and the dogs don’t fit on the bikes.

A few highlights from the weekend. We also won furthest drive award!

Such a desolate looking site. No electric,no water, no shade. Like a giant cat box. No thanks.

Dont need any of that for a good time although there were generators, lots of shade besides those pics, a full bar and restaurant that supported the whole weekend event. It was maybe 80 at the hottest part of the day. I’ll tell you, there’s something magical about a desert sunset over the fading mountains in the distance.

A really cool award made by other vanners for the event. Everyone was very stoked that we drove down.


We’re headed to our last spot for the trip to a place with a hot tub and a good nights sleep and then it’s nearly home. Thanks for allowing me to share our trip
