Hi there my vanning family. I am looking for the gauge panel for a 89 e150. Guage cluster, the heater control, wiper controls, in michigan, i have exhausted my options. Also does any of you have the handicapped controls? I do not have use of lower legs. Thank you in advance...

Hi Rvannen, welcome

I see a few Vans around the U.S. on Craigslist every once in a while that have the hand controls. More with lifts though. Parts Vans, sure have seen a few I'd love to annoy the neighbors with, but, $... A and B auto wrecking in San Diego is a good source, they ship. Tell them the guy with the big Red Van, (Frscke1) sent you. grin

I have a friend here in Levelland who has had and controls installed into several vehicles by a mechanic. I can ask where they were sourced from and report back.

Van On! cheers

Hi Rvannen,

Ok, eh. I don't know much, but here's what i do know about hand controls. Saw the hand control car, and talked to the owner. The controls came from a Mobility supply store in Lubbock. I am thinking there should be one near you up there, and A Quality installer as well.

It is a single lever dual action control that attaches to the brake, and also the accelerator linkage. Push Pull for brake, lever down for gas, spring loaded return up to idle. it's tucked in there pretty smartly, any decent equipped mechanic can install the unit. They can be modified into other vehicles, and repaired. The unit is pretty substantial, not sure about cost. Hope this helps. Cheers!
