I realize these posts are old, but I have a question regarding a Manufacturer plate on my Grumman Olson Step Van. There is a Grumman Allied Industries Inc for ?? Olson Corporation manufacturer plate with a number of : 16353KSC6610A. I cannot find anything via the interweb, for any decoding for this type of number. The chassis is newer, so the VIN number is different than this number. It is affixed to the dash on the passenger side entry way with flathead screws (looks to be original and untouched/worn)
https://pix.sfly.com/XgUBD9. I am looking for a manufacturer date from this serial number. This particular van does not have the curved side glass as I have seen in many step vans. It was said to have been a UPS truck. I have been in the process of removing paint and polishing the aluminum, and the paint has been a really dark brown. The wheels are an 8 lug 8x19.5 with four circle cut-outs....not your typical wheel as you would see on most pics on a google search. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
