That is one good looking van. I need to beef up front leaf springs. They are almost starting to bend to the opposite side will post pic later.

Hi to all again it's been a while since my last post . I have the motor where it needs to go, I have removed it since and I am now in the process of rebuilding the big block. All of the parts that have been ordered are slowly arriving. I've been busy cleaning up all of the parts and getting all ready for the build then I will tackle the 4L80E trans and the NP205. Just a few pics again .

Hi to all Just some progress on the G20 Van . I managed to weld all the sheet metal on the inside of the van . Finished the front sheet metal work mounted the booster and cleaned it all up. I had to use the existing power steering unit as the one managed to get did not work . I had to make a box to fit around the unit and mount it only to find that the radiator did not fit so had to move the power steering again.
I am looking for a 4" drop pit man arm is there anyone who would be able to recommend where I would be able to use .Here are a few pics of the progress. All will be neatened up on final fitting.

Hi to all just a quick update on the steering box.I managed to find a steering box that fits on the right hand side of the Van. Problem when the steering is turned to the right the wheels turn left so I stripped both the steering boxes and interchanged all the internals of the steering box it is now a reverse rotation steering box and it works. It looks a hundred times better than it used to. Now I need to panel beat where I caused a bit of damage.

Hi to all I back again with a small update on my van dashboard. As the vents on the side of the dash were damaged and the fact that I will be going for a after market A/C I decided to close all the extra holes in the dash. I have made a mold /plug of the dash an will be pulling a complete dash in the next week or 2 I thought I would just post a pic or 2 of the progress. I will probably pull 2 dashes from the plug just in case I want to build another standard van. I still need to touch up the mould before I pull a complete one. I will post again when the dash is complete.

Hi to all I have not stopped my project. I am busy rebuilding my 454 and 4l80E trans and getting all the wiring sorted for the dash I do not want to bore you with the rebuilding of that. I have lots of pic of the rebuild of the motor and trans. If anyone is interested I can post them.

Hi to all. Finished moving all the relevant wiring to the right side of the van. Today I started to install the new clocks for the dash.Still have to wire them up. Not to sure if I want to leave the trim rings aluminium or to spray them mat black, would like to ask for a bit of feed back if possible. Pics below.
