Greetings,
I finally have hit the grandslam. I have owned just about every type of square body GM truck/van/SUV....my latest purchase was a 1995 GMC Starcraft G20. It was sitting for about 3-4 years in a field and sadly did not run that great and had a layer of funk. I think it sat for many years before then. Many washes and some love it is almost back to new. I was very lucky to find Morty the G20 and get him back to where he should be. Only 100K and really is a time capsule.

I am a huge square body fan and have owned about a dozen variations of the style. Mainly C10, a K10, a blazer, a K20 and a R1500. I was surprised at the lack of parts for the R1500, but I am super surprised at the lack of parts for the G20. I have been able to find and order some normal wear and tear stuff, but the other parts which I thought would interchange with a truck of the same year simply do not.

If anyone has some hidden spot to find parts please let me know. I am needing a ABS sensor for the front right. I need the antenna mast, GM Part No.: 88891022. It seems these parts are no longer being made. I have emailed LMC and the googe search, must not be as good as I thought.

Welcome to the site CTDEXP

There are many sites from where you can get parts cheaper than the local stores. The biggest issue is shipping on some of the heavier parts. Everyone will have their own opinion on what site they prefer. I like Rockauto for the most part, along with LMC.

Thank you for the tip, but I have tried all the normal spots, RockAuto, LMC, and Amazon, tried my local spots, Adavnaced, AutoZone, Napa etc....I am hoping I am just blind to something. I found the wheel sensor on Amazon, but it looks nothing like the one I need and questioning the fitment.

In some cases, not all. They post a generic picture of the item they are selling. I am always cautious about those purchases. For the most part they are good. I do ask myself, that being able to return the item to a local store is worth a few extra $$ in my opinion.

There is an encyclopedia in the Georgia area and goes by Catfish on this website that may have better input. Allow him a few days as he may have a better suggestion for parts in your area.

Welcome from over in the Alpharetta/Woodstock area!
Have you inspected the sensor and wiring?
I had the same problem. The front right hand sensor tested bad on our '95 G20. Luckily, for me, the wire had rubbed the inside of the wheel and I was able to spice the wire back together without tracking down any parts. Then I reset the ABS system.
I understand it's a fairly common thing.

Greeting All, Thank you for making me feel welcome.

Yes, mine did the same thing, it was rubbed and fixed, then broken again. I fixed it and fixed the previous repair. The connection is good now, but I think it just damaged to much. I am thinking I might return the wire again, make my own harness if I can not find the part.

Does anyone know what the resistance measurement should be across the sensor?
