Is there an ajustment for the "tri angle" windows?

My drivers window will stay open at 55 mph, but the passenger window will start to close at any speed over 30 mph.

Yes. There's a spring underneath. Tighten the spring and it'll apply pressure and keep the window open. This will require going inside the door though. Not quite a 5 minute fix.

Thank you, my next project is going to install power mirrors on the van, so I will look into tightening the spring. Appreciate your reply...

Just be careful tightening the spring. Too much tension and over time the lower pivot shaft can break off.

That is really good to know Tuner. Ok, should I go in increments of 1/4 turns or are we talking full turns? Is it righty tighty also?

Might want to spray the area with penetrating oil before trying to adjust.

My passenger side was the same way, would blow shut at highway speeds. I think I turned it 1 full turn or something like that. Just be careful. Righty tighty

No probs Catfish.

You will see the adjuster nut at the bottom there... but if you look closely you will notice the washer above the nut has two tabs that hold the nut in place. The centre hole of the washer isn't round it has a flat in it that matches a flat side of the shaft preventing the nut from turning. So you will have to prise open those tabs , adjust the nut then squeeze the tabs back to grab the nut in it's new position.

Before you do that LOOK FOR RUST!

If you see any then I would leave it the way it is as that bolt will likely shear before the nut breaks loose. Hit it with some penetrating fluid even if it's not rusty just to be on the safe side.
