So I just scored this table post and some extra mounting brackets from a fellow vanner on Facebook. The post and attached mounts are made in China, BUT the two extra brackets that came along for the ride are cast aluminum pieces made by TIIDEE Products in Dayton, OH. So my plan is to make a collapsable table for Queen Anne's Revenge that I can put in the middle of a curved bench seating area in the back (similar to some I've seen in the HopCap conversions) and when I lower it down, use it as part of the base of a bed conversion making what was the curved bench seating into a functional bed. That's the plan at least, we shall see what it turns into as I go.
Anyhow, I did a little research on "TIIDEE Products" and found some neat stuff to share. Apparently they were making Suzie Homemaker stuff all the way back in the 50's, but in 1969 applied for a patent for these nifty cast aluminum table bases and mounts. I've seen these things in vans, RVs, campers, and even boats. Pretty cool stuff. Any of you guys running one? What kind of table setups have you got? Share your tables.
I'm probably no help on this because I just use a round table with a super heavy base pillaged from a Starbucks remodel job. It is kinda wedged in place while driving but can be moved inside or out when parked. My van is more for camping use and not as custom as some on here so I need it to be very convertible.
I'm also not a fan of putting holes in my floor.

I've got some of those. If I can dig 'em out I'll take a pic. Got a small little table somewhere in the garage that came from a late 70's conversion that attaches that way with a tube/post.

Post up some pics, that would be great. I'm wanting to go custom and functional, so all ideas will help me in brainstorming. Your setup sounds cool to me.

That's awesome man, thanks for sharing. Bet it's made by the same company. Looks almost exactly the same. Probably a revision of the design, before or after.
