Hi! Deborah here & glad to be here & hope that I will explain myself accurately when asking questions so as not to exasperate you all. I recently found my dream ride after searching for several years.. a 1980 Chevy G30 can/chassis 21ft American Clipper powered by a 400 small block 4 barrel carb & I just turned 66,000miles bringing Pearl home.
Although I have the (very thick) repair manual, there are questions I’m bound to have as I intend on doing whatever I need to keep this unit for a very long time. American Clippers are amazing motor homes ... apart from being a fibreglass unit, it was the floor plan that I fell in love with.
Years ago I was part of customizing a 1974 Dodge Tradesman 360 with double side doors into a pretty sweet camper. I think I may have got the van bug back then. Over the years I knew I wanted a van front small motor home & TaDa... Pearl satisfies my gypsy spirit!
I don’t seem to be able to include a pic from my iPhone on here.... stay tuned!
