Sooooo... I just FINALLY realized I could edit the title of the thread and changed it to reflect the name of the van. Wish I would have noticed that months ago.
Yes sir! I was able to get the bases off this morning. One of the track bolts kept spinning due to a loose press nut, so I hacksawed the bolt off as well as a large slice in my thumb.
Got a couple of pics of the stickers I found on them. I'm assuming they are from the 3rd Gen Ford vans? Hopefully they will work fine in a 3rd Gen Chevy too. We shall see.
Dropped the captain seats off with the upholstery shop this morning. He will be going on vacation, so I told him I would prefer to wait for him to return and do them as opposed to his apprentice. So they should be done around the end of July or first of August. Can't freaking wait to see them all done up.
since your naming the van Queen Annes Revenge, once it is finished you need to take it to Beaufort, NC (where blackbeard supposedly stayed, and QAR was run aground) and to Ocracoke Island, NC (where Blackbeard was captured and killed) for a little tour.

Already planning on it. I rode my Harley down to OBX 2 years ago and camped with my wife (she went down with her father and brother and a big huge camper for a family wedding) and I fell madly in love with the whole area. I have a feeling my wife and I will move there some day after retirement.

We go to Ocracoke every year and camp in the van. love it there. We moved to SC from Elizabeth City, NC and My wife wants to move back to the OBX after she finishes nursing school, but I refuse to live ON the OBX.
