Even if you have 4 and a spare, if you get into a position that you need a tire (say you hit something in the road), NOBODY keeps them in stock and you will be waiting. At least with a 16, you know they are readily available. | | | Re: new member need help finding correct parts (87 g30) | Joined: May 2018 Posts: 2,397 Likes: 64 veteran | veteran Joined: May 2018 Posts: 2,397 Likes: 64 | What parts are you looking for, also 16.5 is still available but I would go with a 16.
When in doubt..get the sawzall out..

Much easier to find | | | Re: new member need help finding correct parts (87 g30) | Joined: Oct 2015 Posts: 763 Likes: 50 old hand | old hand Joined: Oct 2015 Posts: 763 Likes: 50 | Lots of factory wheel options are available in several diameters, as the wheels are a 8x6.5" or a metric size of 8x165.1 (8x165)
Factory wheels off these will fit (This is not all inclusive, I am sure there are more): Dodge 8 Lug wheels 1946-present, I believe. Ford 8 Lug Wheels 1955-1998. Chevy & GMC 8 lug wheels 1967-2011.
Pretty sure 8 lug Hummer H1 and H2 Wheels will fit as well, but I think the H1 were 16.5". | | |
