Chris Carter has begun selling his Wild Cherry stuff again. I never bought into his sales pitch then and I am not now. I will vote with my wallet, case closed.
So, who was right and Who was wrong? Chris Carter or Laura Godin?
The courts decided and Chris Carter plead guilty to one of the felony counts of driving or taking a vehicle without consent and had pay US$5,000 restitution to the Godins, as well as nearly US$1,000 to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department for towing and impound fees. So, I can't see how anybody can defend Chris and his actions to take the van the way he did.
But, in the end who really won? Of course it was Chris, he got what he wanted even if it didn't belong to him.
The lesson to be learned here is... if your lucky enough to own a garage keep your project vehicles inside. If, you can't. Cover it up with a tarp and keep it out of sight from the eye in the sky (Google Earth/ Maps) and the envious eyes of people on the ground.
Of course, this not the end of the story of Wild Cherry and Chris Carter's 15 minutes of fame. Though, I am sure many wish Wild Cherry would just go away. No need to worry, Karma takes care of everything.
Well, that's my two-cents on the matter.
