I am sure somebody has done this, but I cannot find any pics.

Has anybody put the aftermarket Chrome factory replacement Insert in their 78-83 grill?

I think they are strictly aftermarket and don't think they were ever a standard option on the vans or trucks (the chrome grill option had the argent grill with chrome bars attached, which is currently on my van), which is probably why i cannot find any pics.

I found a post here where it looks like Lettercraft bought one, but never saw any pics with it mounted.

Chroming plastic and steel are different. However, you can purchase the chrome grill.
