Just dropped in to say hello and introduce myself as a long time Vanner. Getting back into the swing with my restoration of my 1978 G20 Hawaiian Blue customized van that I purchased way back in 1977.

I love this ole girl and am finding it DIFFICULT to locate parts on the web. I am sure that I am not the only one and perhaps can find some through this great forum!

Welcome to Vannin Latenite1. Great to have you with us here. As for parts for your restoration, try a site called...Rockauto.com They seem to have a wealth of parts for your van. I went on there and checked for you myself, ( using the 5.7 engine size, if yours if different, check the appropriate one ) there may be other sites with parts available that other members may know about. Wishing you the best of luck on your restoration. Love those old '70s vans. Keep us up to date on how it's going. We love pictures. 😊

Hey! Right now I am looking for a set of headlight doors for the rectangular headlights for a 1978. I have a message posted over in the Parts wanted/to buy with the GM part numbers. From the past several weeks of hard searching, it appears that these in great condition (good chrome) are rather hard to come by these days.
