Anyone installed a 4-way for trailer lights? Couldn't find anything in the search. Its on a 1995 G30. I think I can come off the brake lights? Any advice is appreciated. Wiring is not my favorite job....

Wanted to update this in case anyone searches looking for a solution.... You DO NOT have to cut any wires. There are kits made that are plug and play. Works very easy. Run the wires through the whole behind the licese plate. Up through the floor and to you tail lights. Unplug tail light connectors and plug in wiring harness. Wrap wires if needed. Part numbers are below. I used the Hopkins brand from O'Reilly. The Curt brand is the same connection type though... Best of luck!

I have used the Curt wiring harnesses on my Tacoma and Xb and they were super simple to install and work fine. My G20 was already wired so I am no help there. Try the Curt and I am sure you will be happy.

If that door mounted spare and the tongue jack on the trailer don't get along. (Too close for turning) You can use a Jack-e-up.

Works well on our '95 and little travel trailer to allow the spare tire clearance when making a turn.

Have not thought about that, but heck yea. I appreciate the advice. With that little trailer I think im ok, but I have a few other trailers that might need one. Thanks!
