There just isn't enough airflow even at 70+ miles per hour to blow it around or create any dust :-) I have an insulated and wood subfloor to keep the sand from laying directly on the metal so metal corrosion from the sand is mitigated...I Hope.

The neighbors thought I was crazy when they saw me dumping the rest of the sand in the van LMAO. Now they love it.

Thanks!!! Swivel seats are just seat covers, the next project is to have them upholstered in the same material. I wanted to see how well they held up and if I liked them long term, which I do :-D

Looking good! I have that Martin Denny album, too! He did some good stuff.

Windows- they're what make a van worth owning!

Whoa crazy, 800lb of sand? So if you have to access something in the floor, what happens? Seems awesome though.

Hmmmm, well good question. There were no access panels in the floor area I covered with subfloor and sand. I'm not sure I have to access anything through the floor behind the front seats. I guess if I do need to get to the floor I'll have to get the beach toy shovels and buckets and get the sand out LOL.

I love it!! With 800lb of sand in the back, it should hook up pretty good.

Such an awesome van. It was great to see it & you at the van show. It really has come a long way from the first time I saw it.
