Yes as a matter of fact. We have the K&M from Northern as well in our GMC. Really works great! Made for heavy equipment use and actually better quality than most of the "made for vans" swivels I've had in the past. Very solid feel, no wobble at all. Made from heavy gauge steel. Installed on top of the existing floor mount. I used some 11/4" spacers in the front between the swivel and the seat tracks so the seat is slightly reclined in place but level when turned around. Also used some flat 2" wide steel to make brackets for matching up the bolt holes.

I'm sitting in it as I type this....we're camped up in Iowa. Cold, rainy and windy today, we're stuck inside. The extra room from the swivel is very welcomed.

I will get accurate dimensions of my factory base and seat holes and see how things line up. Thanks for the input.

If the pic posts. Mounted to the factory base with the flat steel mounted to the swivel and the holes drilled to match the stock seat rails.

Another.
You can just see the flat steel I added across the top front inside the stock mount.
In the background you can see I also mounted our center wooden console on heavy slides. Roll it back to turn the seat and then it rolls back in place for a desk or table.

Thanks for the photos Catfish. I will order tonite.

You mentioned you are in Iowa and it is a bit chilly. This area has had a very cool and wet spring! Lots of water in the fields and the farmers are all complaining. I camped near Dubuque a few weeks back and it was perfect. Wifey camped central Wisconsin last week and returned a day early due to snow. It should be warmer by July!

Great idea and thanks for the photo. Someday I'll do that for passenger seat in my van.

Sometimes the most simple solution never comes to mind but when you see a photo, you end up saying “oh yeah, duh!”

I really appreciate the photo Catfish and love the moveable cabinet you’ve got too
