I recently bought a NorCal wing from TrucknVans took the box over to my painter. After he finished painting I placed on the roof. The wing doesn't fit flush with the curve of the roof line on my 1988 Chevy shorty van. Their is about a quarter inch gap between the van roof and curve inside of wing. The wing sits about a half inch on each side above the drip rail. Spoke with TnV they said to use the anchors to pull the wing down to the roof. I don't see the wing flexing that much to pull down to roof.

Was wondering if anybody else had the same issue and if so what did they do to resolve it. Noticed also that on the inside of the van it has a support that runs where you would come through the roof to anchor.

Any advice or suggestions would be greatly appreciated

Moon

Had the same issue with the Norcal I got from customvan.com. Had to have a body guy do some fiberglass work to make it perfect.

Always test fit before painting.
