The brackets ended up being surprisingly simple and everything lined up better than I ever imagined it would.. I'll get some pictures of the brackets tonight hopefully.. Driving position is perfect, and they are super comfy! I hooked power to them and verified that when I lean the back forwards and slide them around a bit, they both swivel all the way around just fine!! That is a huge relief because I was worried they wouldn't be able to swivel. They are quite a bit bigger than the original seats, and the stick shift is kind of in the way. These are going to be recovered to match the design of the rear bench.

That seat clears the shifter no problem? looks tight there. | | | Re: Tuner4life's 1985 Chevy G20 4 Speed Build Thread | Joined: Sep 2013 Posts: 1,015 Likes: 19 old hand | OP old hand Joined: Sep 2013 Posts: 1,015 Likes: 19 | I have to put it in reverse and slide the seat forward and back a few times, but it clears by less than an inch all around! | | | Re: Tuner4life's 1985 Chevy G20 4 Speed Build Thread | Joined: Jan 2014 Posts: 2,290 Likes: 137 veteran | veteran Joined: Jan 2014 Posts: 2,290 Likes: 137 | Still looking awesome, keep it coming man. Seriously awesome, plus the fact the van is a manual trans, besides i doubt you'll be swinging while you're driving lol. Honestly one of the biggest reasons i'm super gun ho about restoring my pops old van was seeing pics of your van. | | | Re: Tuner4life's 1985 Chevy G20 4 Speed Build Thread | Joined: Sep 2013 Posts: 1,015 Likes: 19 old hand | OP old hand Joined: Sep 2013 Posts: 1,015 Likes: 19 | Thanks everyone!!
