Hey I can’t find the answer to this question anywhere!

So I’m going to run 215/60/15 fronts and 275/60/15 rears on 15x8 and 15x10 cragars. What offset am I looking for? Yes I want the rears to stick out past the body, don’t worry I’ve got an extender arm for the slider! Lol.

This question has been asked ad nauseam here and countless other places, yet nobody will ever know the answer.

I suppose it's one of life's greatest mysteries.

they ask the question but dont say how much they want it to stick out ... do they have flairs ....

There so many questions to be answered but all they want is a number.

The smaller the back space the further the tire sticks out ..... the larger back space the tighter the tire sits to the veh.

Everybody is different on what they want it to look like with different tires .. some look good stickin way out some dont.

I did a ton of research and measuring when I bought wheels for my 1985 G20. I wanted Cragars, but ended up going with Torque-Thrust 2s because they were one of the only wheel designs that came in my ideal calculated sizes for both front and rear.

Here is what the specs are and what it looks like:

Keep in mind:
-I have flairs
-I have drop knuckles in the front that also widened the track about 0.5".

Front: 15x8 with 3.75" backspace / 255/60/15 tire
Rear: 15x10 with 3.77" backspace / 295/50/15 tire

Well, if he's buying new 15x10 Cragars he's limited to 4.25" backspacing and -32mm offset because that's all they currently make.

That wheel paired with 275/60 tires will look big & meaty, and stick out past the stock wheel well quite a bit.

There, that was easy!

All out of context quotes not necessarily in order attributed to the fine Vanners above. Good Day Gentlemen.

"I did a ton of research and measuring. Yes I want to stick out. I’ve got an extender, don’t worry. Everybody is different on what they want it to look like, some look good stickin' way out some don't. I wonder if anyone makes an extended for it? That will look big & meaty, and stick out, quite a bit. They ask the question but don't say how much they want it to stick out

This question has been asked ad nauseam here and countless other places, yet nobody will ever know the answer."
Proving, once again,
"I suppose it's one of life's greatest mysteries."

"There, that was easy!"

Not sure who that was directed at, but 255/60's fit just fine on 15x8.
