Has anyone heard of a source for Glaval Pinstriping? Yeah I know it'll probably be easier to find a Living Big Foot but I'm trying. Got a line on a possible decal maker but thought I'd try here first

Specifically looking for 1995 Glaval Gladiator striping. Have some minor body work that needs to be done and requires removal of the decals for repair and paint.

In the past I worked in a local bodyshop. We had a conversion come in once that we were unable to find striping for. We matched the colors of the stripes and painted the new ones on. We intentionally left a hard edge so it would match the decals height difference. Took some patience, but turned out very nice in the end. Just something to think about.

Maybe older dealership body shops? When I was there, we kept some of those. Had to buy stripe set for the whole side, if not the WHOLE van, might be worth a shot !!

Unless the decals have been stored in a perfectly sealed and humidity regulated climate, they probably wouldn't be any good anyways. Most graphics like those have a shelf life of 10 years or less before the adhesive becomes compromised and they will peel once installed.

Another thought, we have a LOT of local vinyl graphics guys in our area. All the racers are going that route now for their cars and even a few vinyl wrap shops that will wrap the whole darn car in a photo vinyl.

Any of those guys should be able to replicate your Glaval stripes with ease.

Good grief. Staring me right in the face. Thank you thank you. The vinyl wrap guy said "why not?"

No worries, I do the same thing all the time. Heck, I didn't even think about that when I made my first post. LOL Story of my life.

Let us know how they turn out.

http://www.cpcparts.com/ (Parkin Accessories) is who has all the remaining Glaval parts but most of the usual stuff is pretty much gone. They did still have Gladiator lock cylinder decals and Gladiator by Glaval decals. They have one guy in charge of the Glaval stuff but they don't seem to monitor or update their site.
