Got a good weather day off work finally. 4 bolts and the steering gear linkage to remove and the old front end will be out. Pathfinder front end is already prepped to install.

Had a great day yesterday. My brother came and helped me drop the old front end out, and roll the pathfinder front end in. Put in k member. Did some trimming of sheet metal, mounted crossmember for front spring perches to land on, landed them, measured a million times, tacked them on, measured more... welded them down. Pulled the tires she was blocked up on and set my baby on her own four feet... fighting motor mounts now.

Curious what BB motor you are going to run? The 454's work great in the EXT's. Our Club Prez has 2 454 EXT's , one a 4X4. It's a Monster. The BB G vans are fun.

Thanks for the vote of confidence. The guy who owns the Explorer we are building said he would give me a big block for helping with the build. (44s and a blown 460) Options at this point include a 402 and a 427. The 402 is complete, and the 427 is a tall deck. Neither is a 454, but the price is free..... what do you think?
