This may have been covered before but is it correct to use 275-60R-15's on the rear and 255-70R-15's on the front to make the front higher? Maybe I should use 60's or 70's all the way around? I've seen it mixed many times before and I'd like to know all other opinions on this before I buy my new tires.

Thanks !!!

You could use that those sizes but the front will be bigger than the back by just a hair and look kind of funky. I'd say either get the same size or bigger in the back. Also what van do you have. I have a mid dodge with 235/70/15s and the size is just about right imo.

I have a 1984 Ford Econoline 150. I've had several Fords, Dodges and Chevy's in the past and ran 60's all around with the wider ones out back. That was the old school look when I grew up.

I'm curious if you can mix the 70's in front with the 60's in the rear?

I've decided to run Cooper Cobra GT all season tires. 255/60R/15's up front and 275/60R/15's on the back.

Coopers are on my $hit list, every one I have had have separated tread from sidewall, never again.

That's great advice. I was trying to avoid the cost of using BFG's again. Are there any more "Good" tires to consider ???
