Gobs of Purple fur.....Yea baby!

Interior pics are lousy for a dealer.

Asking 39,000$ at dealer. Back to the lotto.

I Think they just listed it to get a feel of what they could realize in a sale.

For that much money I would expect an 8 3/4 rear axle. That 440 might kill the 8 1/4 axle in there if that van is ever driven. I like tghe fur, but not on the floor. Too hard to keep clean. If I spend $40k on a vehicle I want to be able to drive it.

Windows- they're what make a van worth owning!

I saw it in the Instagram photos that used to be on here, I think.

Surprisingly, Ma Mopar was doing that back in the day. My '77 Chrysler with 400 4bbl. has an 8.25. The 8.75 died in '74, so the only improvement on the shelf would have been the 9.25. But I'm with you, as work van with a big block, I'd want a 9.25. Or to retrofit an 8.75.

With the Chrysler, if you ordered a tow package, you go the 9.25. I wonder if that was true for the vans too?

As far as Mopar goes I know It was true for some trucks in the mid 70's. I restored a Dodge 79 Li'l Red Express with a small block 360 4 bbl. that came stock with a 9.25 rear end. The only option was if you got the posi-trac set up or not. Not quite sure if the van's handled this the same way but I doubt it.

A nice 440 with an 8 1/4 would blow that rear end as soon as you punched it down !!!
