Hi guys,
wondering if anyone has any ideas about my running problems.
i have a dodge 3.9 v6 1992 fuel injection. it keeps cutting out and wont run for very long. it seems like something electrical is shutting it down rather than it running out of fuel. it start straight back up but doesnt idle for more than a minute or 2. there is also a lot of condensation/water from the exhaust. i have changed the fuel pump and filter.
any ideas on where to look next?

Since it’s shutting off/running after two minutes that tells me there is an issue with the computer using O2 sensor signal. The signal is incorrect and the computer can’t figure out correct amount of fuel. So you could have a bad O2 sensor.

The condensation (water and white smoke in exhaust) actually worries me. Is the van using coolant? You could have a blown head gasket leaking coolant into one or two cylinders. Which can cause water in exhaust, and drivability issues like you describe.

I would pressure test the cooling system. And the O2 sensor. You should also pull your spark plugs, if you have a head gasket issue the plug on the blown cylinder will be cleaner than the others.
