I searched the forums and didn't find this info so I thought I'd share. The steering in my 95 B2500 is fine but I know it can get sloppy. I went searching for stabilizers and found this small company. Steering Box Stabilizer
I called and talked with the owner and he told me that he had originally designed and fabricated steering stabilizers for the ram 4x4's death wobble. He then started getting requests for a stabilizer for vans.
He ended up making a couple and they are great quality. Makes me feel much better about long trips and it feels much more solid. $140 including shipping was a great deal for my piece of mind.

I checked with these guys, but it's only for '94 and later vans.

Yes unfortunately. Don is an easy guy to talk to for sure,don't know but he may have some ideas for older vans.

I am having issues visualizing how this is going to reduce the slop in the worm gear. I can see if the pitman arm output is moving around it would sturdy that up and if the whole gear was flexing on its mounting brackets, but a sloppy worm steering gear internally, I do not see this as doing anything towards internal slop, only slop at the splined output shaft where pitman arm resides.
