Hello everyone! I am an avid Van enthusiast and have been since I was around 10 years old. I have owned 3 vans recently and my third one is the 71 Dodge Shorty that was purchased off the original owner. It had been sitting in the state in the pictures for 20 years. Had driven by her for about the same amount of time every time we would see my in-laws. I always stated that I need to see if she was for sale, but of course would never seem to have the time to do so. One day I found myself kid-less and wife-less for the day and figured I'd venture out! Turns out the guy was very cool, and we talked for several hours about the van and many other cars he had stored on his land. Long story short he agreed to sell her and she was mine. These are pics of her the day I talked to him for the first time. It has been a year and a half since then and I'm nearly ready to prime her! Can't wait! There will be many more pics to come documenting my journey with her! So stay tuned and I hope you like the journey as well!
Priorities are right on man..the wheels are the catalyst that keep you motivated, that is really a sweet van,my hats off to you most people would run from that one can't wait to see it done. Keep on Truckin
