Hi Guys, Just bought a pair of 1978 Trans Am vents that I am wanting to put on my 1988 Chevy van. Back in the 80's when I had my 1976 van I always thought that was the coolest look. I have the vents now but not sure how to install. Not finding much info on the subject. If anybody has tips on the do's and don't would be greatly appreciated

If you got the surrounding metal with flange off of the donor T/A (hope so), then here's a guy who added them to a std. Firebird fender.

Trans Am Country

A few additional thoughts and a good photo here.

I installed these in my Astro van hood...you need the surrounding frame for the vents out of the Trans Am fenders...cut a hole in your fender weld them in and bolt in the vents....
