Chevy a little more $ but the parts and interchangeability are plentiful
Ford N Dodge ..cost less but parts are hard to come by N expensive
They, the BIG 3, get ya one way or another

I've had both. Had a ford ambo with 7.3 and resold it after I projected having to work on it and decided didn't want to work on any more fords. Working on either chevy or ford engine looks to be a pita. The twin i beam suspension drives different then the chevy, like the chevy, chevy has shorter turning radius from what I can tell.
Had a newer Ford and the doghouse is closer to the drivers chair then a newer chevy and the transition to the back not as smooth. Had a chevy express 3500 2010 that was really nice, should have kept that one.
Right now have a '89 G20, likey. If I get the a/c going. Cruising at 75+ gets 12.1 mpg with a 350ci and drives real nice.
