I've owned both, still do.
The GM is a little better/easier to work on IMO. Replacement parts are a little more abundant and less expensive. And I like the 60/40 barn doors much better.
I like the flat floorboards in the 3G Fords and I believe they do ride better. The 3G fords are heavier and slightly wider. I like the body on frame.
So it's kind of a toss-up with me.
I've never owned a Dodge. I did have a Dodge belt buckle someone gave me, but it rusted.
