Workin on a 73 e100. Naturally the front end is shot, naturally parts aren’t to be found.

With the other forum gone, anyone holdin information?

Any tie rod ends and such I can make work? Weld some different spindles up? Machine different tapers?

Start from scratch, no one knows?

So, the tie rods/drag link don’t look like too much trouble to make up for now.

Anyone have a diagram or actual part of the idler arm bracket, in particular the bushing I no longer have. Best I can tell the manual skips over it.

All I have left is the sleeve, end up with about 1/2” of vertical play, not sure if it should be eliminated at the top, bottom or neither. Toying around with doing one out of bronze.

Hi Sam, Saw a couple Mid Fords in this yard in Fresno. Parts van up in Sacramento. Good luck on the search, and Welcome to the site!

You will need to buy a new pin, I don't recall the name of it, I bought one years ago for the future, don't need it but as how parts are getting tough to find, saw fit to stock up what I can. Spicer part # K8172
You will need to drive out the sleeve, it is part of the bushing itself, it should have come out with the rest of it.
