I gave up and removed all of the rubber. There's no way it was ever going to work with even a little bit of rubber in the assembly.

Does anybody have a source or solution for new felts int the channel that runs along the vent window?


Also... how do you keep the window glass attached to the regulator? Mine has become loose from all of this fitting and removal. Glue? Silicone?

A buddy of mine recently replaced his using the fuzzy side of 1" self-adhesive Velcro tape and it worked perfectly.

Yeah I've done that velcro trick too, it works well.
I used PU adhesive to hold the glass in the channel.
