Impressive progress.
I'd better hurry up, or you really will finish this whole van before I get that shifter shaft seal replaced.
I was able to get the old shaft out today though, so there's hope for me yet. lol

Thanks!
This is what I would call a backyard operation, not shooting for a Show winning paint job but something a hole lot better than Factory. The Van was pretty straight with no waviness which helps a lot...................................

I'm sorry to say, but this one is just too far gone, and you're in way over your head. Just let me come pick the thing up and give you a little cash for your trouble and I will hide it so no one knows you had a hand in this catastrophe.

🤣

On a serious note, outstanding work and I can't wait to see it all come together.

I knew many years ago I would want a clone of my "first" so now taking inventory of mandatory bling that I have gathered over the years. Buying, keeping the best I could find and doing it all over again. The wheel "tubs" are to widen the ones in the Van to accommodate big weenies.........................
I see DarkStar did the same treatment to her gill as I did 40 years ago so will be doing the same when time permits to tape off the Chrome bars and lower park light section.

Well it got painted but away again for another winters work. Started putting on the little things and started with the side marker lights. Never have had a Bauville (sp) but wanted to see how the more stylish marker lights would look. Mounted them on the outside as factory installed but immediately thought they stuck out to far. Did a little whittling (on an already painted body) and decided I liked the "Frenched in marker light look!
