Hello vanners,

One thing I'm struggling with with my van is where to find parts for it. Especially the exterior accessories such as fender flares and the like. Are there any certain websties you all order from? Any specific junkyards you guys use? I'm from CT so if you could inform me of any in my area I'd appreciate it. Thanks!

So I made a coulple of trips out to WrenchaPart in Lubbock. Gotta pick your days. It's 22 outside today. Both days I got lucky, Tshirt weather once you get to working. The green 94 95 Chevy G20 last 2 pics, is frscke1's door donor. I still need to get the right rear door off ot the white one, 3 decent doghouses too. All the Convo's have fold down beds. These are all the Chevys. Porthole van is a trip. '79. The Florist van first pic had a 400, and has dual tanks.

Happy hunting Vanners!

Parts? Off Dodges? 1 week later. They had crushed the one '94-'97 I wanted to, and didn't get a look at. "We don need no stinking Dodges!" grin The '89 yielded a dual snorkel air cleaner for my '94, both headlight bucket's, trim rings, and gas cap for the '88 B250
Thank's Scotty! Good Hunting Vanners!!

On a footnote. That sure is a lot of nce front sheet metal, and doors. After seeing Big Red resurrected, a decent Gvan donor was the only way. Good job Scott!

WrenchaPart in Lubbock is a long day for me. That place is Yuuge! I've only got one roud trip in me. LOL!
And the Dodges are in the opposite corner!

Those rear doors fought me for a hour just trying to unlatch them after I got in there. The loose unhooked linkage, how to get the top first, then yank up on the bottom rod with force. No outside button on the handle. But it is indeed a power lock rear door. 4 Pop outs, Van has power mirrors too, switch is on the doghouse. Gotta go back. Get the latches! It was a wheelchair van as well. Power rear bench is not all tore up. Console with controls. Lotta wood interior on the white and green G20's too. Next Wheelbarrow sale. Ahoy! cheers

That '88 has a complete good 5.2/A500 518? complete drivetrain with computer in it as well.

Happy Hunting!

No Econolines here, I'm hung up now trying to get the passenger rocker replaced, believe I am being jerked around, rather than say no, shop said drop it off, its been sitting outside for weeks now, untouched, getting pretty miffed as I can not fix it myself and all other shops have stopped everything but insurance work, they milk the insurance companies with over stating cost of repairs, something people with cash wont tolerate. during cash for clunkers the yards here crushed everything and continued to crush those that came in, the yards don't seem to keep vehicles long.
