First off, sorry I can't actually post the photos here but can only provide links. If someone else wants to take the photos and post them that's fine with me.

So, been ordering Moog Control Arm Bushings for Upper and Lower Arms.

Ordered some from store #1 and this is what I got:

Uppers were just two boxes full of rust!

Lowers (despite being same part numbers) were made completely different!

Check out the difference in the rim size!

And the difference in how the rubber bushing was shaped!

https://photos.app.goo.gl/UtjFH1xjKBT9R1qs9

And the difference in how only one of them had the serated center bar as it should and the other was non-serated AND look at the difference in the bottom rubber and how one is convexed and the other not!

-----

Decided that I'd go with a different store.

Store Number TWO

The lowers seemed to be correct, thankfully.

The uppers, however.... the ones they sent (despite being the same part numbers) were different between the two boxes.

Check out the differences on the bottom!

And the difference in rubber shape on the top!

https://photos.app.goo.gl/xzUnEzHzZ4CLaWY27

And the overall height of the piece as well as the metal rim sizes were different too!

----

To say that it has been a wild adventure trying to get some parts for these control arms is and understatement!

I've seen that before.
About 10 years ago I had to go to three different parts stores to get two matching brake rotors for my '87 Silverado.

yes. it has been just incredibly unreliable considering all are same brand, made in same country and have correct part numbers on them. terribly frustrating since i have to order them because they are not sold in the stores. so waits up up to four or more days each time.
