I did work on it back in the day when Nick owned it .Chis owned it he from N J
You did work on Cloud Dancer along with Nick? Pretty cool! I met Nick years ago briefly when I first owned the van in High School. While in school, I looked him up (found his name in a magazine) and I drove the van down to an antique car dealership or something to say hi to Nick. I think it was near the beach in NJ. He couldn't have been nicer.
You and Nick SINCERELY did an incredible job on Cloud Dancer. SERIOUSLY. I'm super incredibly lucky to currently own her. But the truth is.. you guys did all the heavy lifting... and you MUST have done it right because nobody is more shocked than me that the Van is doing so well. I'm NO mechanic. I don't have the skill for auto repair and I'm not good at it (me and gasoline aren't a good combination since I'm a klutz)...
But I *DO* like vanning and creating interiors/lighting/etc... basically the esthetics.... so other than me repairing a few simple engine things (I.e. re-patch the gas tank that I originally patched in high school, etc), and paying a few helpful folks/vanners a couple of dollars who graciously helped me out to make some mechanical repairs that I was too scared to tackle (i.e. replacing the radiator that I had patched back in high school which finally gave out), the van amazingly gets pulled out of a barn and continues to run. I have NO idea how that is even possible.. So whatever you and Nick did, you MUST have done it right. So sincere THANKS.
If you or Nick ever are in my neighborhood (Hillsborough, NJ 08844), please do feel free to stop over to see Cloud Dancer. SINCERELY. Just let me know when you are in the area and I'll send the address/etc.
Keep in touch.
