1978-1990 Side Loading Door, Rear weatherstrip 4354112

I have found some for 77' and plenty for chevy vans, and It isn't possible to use universals (I tried),

Any idea?

Been looking for a weatherstrip for my 78 B300 sliding side door for years. I remember seeing one a long time ago but it was $80 so I was holding out for something cheaper and never found it. I'd pay the $80 if I could find that again. DM me if you find anything!

Also why couldnt you get the universal to work? I've almost tried installing some myself but didn't want to be out $30 if it didn't work.

Side and rear door weatherstripping for Dodge vans has never been available in the aftermarket. Front doors? Yes. I bought the second to last set of side barn door weatherstripping in the Dodge dealership inventory about ten years ago. I should have bought the last set as well.

You can try plumping your stock weatherstrip up with silicone injected inside, or using stick on foam weatherstrip, or find some other creative solution. Good luck!

Partsvoice shows 3 of the weatherstrips available, but the places probably want top dollar for NOS, the best option would be to search your local salvage yards. I believe 1978-1993 are the same fit.

how sure are you?I just read on another forum that all the way up to '96 will work, and there's a '94 van at a junkyard thats somewhat close but kind of a hike...
