i have been taking my time trying to figure out how i want the van to end up, i want to get the parts together first before starting on it so as not to find out something isnt available with it sitting in pieces, and have gone thru the ideas of four wheel drive, crazy paint old school, big windows, no windows, even doing a wrap instead of paint so i can just change it down the road easily.

Had a paint scheme pretty much worked out and then i look at Turner4lifes van and how damn classy it looks and throw out all my ideas smile

I've changed ideas several times before really even getting started.
I took the shelves out, removed the previous custom interior, painted the wheels, did some other minor cosmetic things...
and then just stopped cold.
I change my mind so much that I can't get moving out of fear that I'll change my mind halfway through. LOL
I originally had an idea to put bench type seating over the rear wheel wells so that the center of the load floor would still be usable, but once I had the van in hand and tested it out by doing a mock-up, I found that they wouldn't be usable as seating at all...
And I never came up with anything better.
I might end up just re-carpeting the back, doing some tongue-and-groove on the ceiling, and calling it good.

As far as the outside, I always wanted a blue or yellow van, but the pearl white this one came with is sticking.
And... I can't decide on whether I want 17" Torque Thrust wheels with black wall tires, or 15" Ansen Sprints with white letter tires.

At least I've got fuzzy dice on the rear view mirror. lol

That's the fun of vanning !! Back in the '70's I changed my '75 Ford interior a few times, up until it was stolen. A lot cheaper than remodeling your house.

Changed my mind enough to sell a van and get a whole different one altogether.

I got the basics of the interior figured out, bed in back, semi easy removable bench mid-ship, 5 speaker stereo (4 6x9s and a sub) total wood plank interior, but that’s it. Paint ideas must change about once a day or more (even the color palet) and I still can not settle on off-road-ish look, true 4x4 conversion, lowered street or stock looking. Paint has gone from single color, two tone , roof lighter than body (for cooling purposes) or full on mural paint job (Making Ed B very rich ! LOL) I know I am driving my poor wife bonkers, and if I ever figure it out , don’t worry, I will change my mind mid build ! LOL
