It isn't an issue of tough skin. I am sure Catfish will be just fine. It is an issue of courtesy, respect, and politeness towards other people, especially people you are asking for help and who are trying to help you.

Didn't mean to be mean here. I know that searching for various key words will bring up threads that are sometimes years old, posted by vanners who are no longer active on the site, but threads that are still very relevant and contain some very good info. It increases your chances beyond just the active members today. I didn't know you had already searched.
Sorry if it came across as an attack of some kind. It was meant as advice. I've been here a long time and I sometimes forget that I don't know everybody on here and they don't know me. Maybe we can meet at the Nats or Keystone next year and turn up a cold one or two.
There's some 4x4 conversion threads here. Maybe they're not much help other than the pictures of the cross member attachment points.
As far as I can tell (I have two G20's and a G1500) the G20's and the G10/G1500 are the same unibody. The suspension/cross member bolts up the same and the measurements, as close as I can take 'em, are the same. I have no experience with the G30's other than just driving 'em.

dwaynedomi on here contacted me via PM a couple years ago when I was redoing my G20 suspension. He has a Vixen Camper that exidently used the G20 subframe and suspension.

He was asking about info on the rubber filled LCA shafts on the G20, but he eventually decided to swap to G30 Control arms on his G20 subframe. Here is a link to some pictures of what he did:

https://photos.google.com/share/AF1...cDFkZ2loc0ZiZW9qQjQzM0x0RURiSVRJYXlLVWVR

He didn't swap the whole G30 subframe, but successfully mounted G30 arms to the G20 subframe. Might help you.. Might not. Good luck.

It's all good buddy I apologise for my retort, I've grown so used to people treating me like I'm dumb because I'm paralyzed being on the defensive is just second nature. I don't know that either of my vans will be show worthy by then, they both need some paint and body, and currently neither have the right stance. And the interiors are pretty boring for now. But I will get there, the Dodge is getting some rake or possibly lowered all around and the Chevy is going up one way or another.

Yes the pictures help alot I can explain to the guys helping what's going on, it appears I'll have to support the engine somehow, remove brake lines and steering linkages then 6 to 10 bolts going up or down and through the sides, and it "should" drop out. Thank you guys very much. If I can make it happen to not switch it all I will, but as it is I have a line on a g30 front crossmember and suspension I'm going to be picking up in the next couple weeks, if it turns out I don't need it I can resell it and hopefully I'm not paying too much for it to begin with.

To remove mine I supported the rear of oil pan with a thick planks to spread the load evenly and a car ramp (see pic below) then on the front a beam from above and a heavy duty ratchet strap under /around the crankshaft balancer.
There was one bolt that was a bitch to remove but that may be different in the G20.

That's sort of how it worked out in my mind, thank you for the heads up.
