Is there a set that are preferred? I found some crystal housings with h11 bulbs. I like the stock look but its going to be dark here before to long in AK. Light bars are cheap enough but I’d like to be able to have the lights on even while traffic is approaching - oncoming headlights are when it’s the hardest for me to see a moose running out in front of me .

Shoot Mr. Stern an email and tell him your lighting needs. He sells high quality headlamps and auxilliary lighting. He can advise you what your options are and the best upgrade path to take.

Cibie with Phillips extreme +130 h4 bulbs with a 12AWg harness feeding them 13.6+v

The cheap replacemetn lights have polycarbonate lenses which Will cloud up from Alaskan road debris if Not Intense UV rays.

Go for Glass lenses.

I have GE highthawk H6054 5x7's sealed beams getting withint 0.3v of chassis voltage, which i can adjust, and most cars next to me at a redlight are throwing less light where required

But I would love some Cibie's with Phillips H4 +130 extreme bulbs.

I get a bit enraged when i am blinded by cheap aftermarket headlamps or LED or HID bulbs in halogen housings.

Very solid recommendation here. I agree with everything said. Daniel Stern sells Cibie products as well as lighting wiring kits, relays, and bulbs.

Personally I am very happy with my LED Projector headlights I just added to my 91 Dodge B-250. Very nice cut off on both low and high beams.
